Jacob Rowland is a certified Physician Assistant who has been with the Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi since 2016. He has been a provider in the Walk-In Clinic since it opened in 2019, providing acute care for upper and lower extremity strains, sprains, tears, and fractures.
Jacob earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Mississippi State University in 2013, followed by his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brothers University in 2016. He was board certified by the NCCPA in 2016 and initially worked for Northeast Orthopaedics, which became part of the Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi in 2018.
A native of New Albany, MS, Jacob lives there with his wife, Erin, and their two daughters, Lucy and Sallie. They are active members of First Methodist New Albany. Jacob is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys supporting Mississippi State sports. In 2023, he was voted the best Physician Assistant in the Daily Journal Reader’s Choice Awards.
